Make your own sacred style medicine drum & beater in this one day workshop.

Put your own unique energy into your personal drum under the guidance of Hayden, who will share his story of how he came to make drums and other artefacts, for many years.

Honouring the animal with love and prayers for allowing it’s voice to live on through every beat of the skin of the drum.

What to Expect

The frame is ready assembled.

You will choose and cut your drum skin, and the lacing for the back of the drum.

You will punch the holes ready to assemble with the lacing.

Should you wish to decorate your drum with crystals please bring these with you.

You will then make your own beater.

The drum skins are ethically sourced deer hide and the frame is often recycled Rimu or Oak.

After completing your drum, there will be a ceremony to invite your drum to infuse with your heart space to begin your sacred journey together.

About Hayden

Hayden has been creating Medicine drums since he made his first drum 4 years ago. His passion is to share the  experience, and what it feels like to make your own sacred drum within a deep intuitive process.

He opens the space with ceremony, prayer and offer heart felt intention and music to set the sacred area, offering blessings and honouring the deer and the trees journey.

What to Bring

• Bring your own lunch & water bottle, tea and coffee will be provided
• Dress in loose comfortable clothing
