Creativity for Wellbeing – Fun and Interactive Classes ($35/class or $190/all six)

An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until August 30, 2022

Take time out to explore being creative for wellbeing while bringing fun and balance into your life within guided creative activities.

These are not art classes and there are no specific art techniques taught; it is about self-expression of your inner journey through creativity and learning how to move out of your head into your creative and intuitive space.

You are welcome to attend one or two classes, however, for maximum benefit it is encouraged to attend all six as some weeks will build upon the previous.

With a maximum number of eight spaces, sign up while there is availability.

Type of Activities

A wide range of activities will be included, such as:

  • SPICE of life activities (Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Communicative  & Emotional)
  • Using natural material, such as creating a nature mandala or decorating driftwood
  • Doodling or Zentangling
  • Creating collages with mixed media
  • Mindfulness & sensory exercises
  • and much more…
Who are these classes suitable for

These class are designed for adults from 18 – 80 (or beyond)  who would like to have fun in a creative environment.  You need no artistic skills whatsoever, or you could have a bit of a flair for it.  What more important is that you will enjoy being creative.

Please note:  These are not art teaching courses.


Having fun through creativity can have a positive impact on your health and wellbeing, not only by providing space for problem solving and self reflection, but it can also increase positive emotions and reduce stress.

What’s Needed

No artistic skills are required, these classes are about having fun through creativity with no expectation of any set outcome.

All materials are provided, simply bring yourself and your water bottle.


Classes are held on a Tuesday between 9:30am – 12pm for six consecutive weeks.

Start date:  26th July  –  End date: 30th August

All dates:

Week 1: 26th July/ Week 2: 2nd August/ Week 3: 9th August/ Week 4: 16th August/ Week 5: 23rd August/ Week 6: 30th August

Val Roberts has been a facilitator for children and families workshops, ESOL teacher aid and has worked with adults with intellectual disabilities and pastoral care for their carers.

Her personal journey has led her to her own clear unhelpful generational patterns and embrace her free & creative spirit while discovering many tools for wellbeing, art being one of them.

She has a passion for self expression of creativity through art, and passes her knowledge and information onto others through fun and play, while sharing her experience and gifts with others while encouraging you on your own personal journey.


Casual rate:  $35/class
